Happy Holidays!
Hey everyone! Here’s a fun winter scene for all of you to celebrate the holiday! Quin’s having a lot of fun here, I promise. He’s just not sold on the whole “moving fast through the snow” thing. Snow doesn’t mean that to him. Dak’s introducing him to the finer points of sledding, but I’m pretty sure by this point, the lutren’s just in it for his own personal amusement.
Because this is our Christmas post, I’m not going to write too much more tonight — but seeing as how it’s thematically relevant, here’s a great piece by Salmon Party regular (and Philippines native) Jerijune showing the Sratha-din celebrating a Noche Buena festival. The Sratha-din don’t really celebrate Noche Buena, but it’s a fun idea made manifest thanks to Jeri!
This turned out to be a very fun and warm (yes I realize the irony) looking piece from both Kobb and Jerijune. Poor Quin is always the butt of the jokes, but at least he can enjoy them somewhat.

I knew there’d be no new “real” page this week, so basically just popped on here to see what holiday filler would be filling this space. But this content is way too good to be labeled as filler. Two great pics, and I can’t decide which I like better! Rachel’s is Tons o’ Fun, from the expressions to Dak’s open-toed snowshoes. (Only a lutren!) And speaking of toeclaws, love the way Quin’s are wrapped around – no, digging into – the sled’s railing. That little touch conveys as much as his expression and body language. Great work!
I see Jeri’s piece is obviously set after the current point of the canon comic, with Kenosh sitting in on the Ermehn festivities. I confess I’ve not been able to identify *everyone* in that pic, but I’m sure others of the Salmon Party here will come to my rescue!
Ah so that’s how Dak and Quin are gonna get back from Deltrada!

I would honestly love to see these two in a relationship but that’d just be cheesy without much reason behind it.

Also, it’s occurred to me that this winter-themed filler page art would make a great print to sell at cons and through the “BWD” online store. Any plans for that, Alex or Rachel?
