Don’t worry folks, Theo’s back to his sarcastic self! You can probably see why he and Rook get along so well. That’s the fun thing about writing up an ensemble cast like this — each of the personalities play off so well against each other that I could just free-write entire conversations between these four (five counting Tabby) and never need to stop to think about what they might say or what they might do while they say it.

Next week, Rachel and I will be at New York Comic Con, Artist Alley table F5! This will be our first NYCC that we’ve tabled, so we’re incredibly excited to show the comic to an entirely new audience that’s never seen it before. We won’t have a page next week, but I’ll make sure you all get a nice post and of course Rachel’s fun art adorning the Artist Alley map!

First up, I know some folks last week were interested in grabbing a download of Nolan Markey’s wonderful “Slip Jig” piece, so here’s an MP3 of that for your listening pleasure!

For guest art this week, a fun piece from Nick Palazzo, who I had the pleasure of tabling next to at Hartford Comic Con last weekend. During a lull in the show, he just whipped out a sketchpad and turned to our Western Deep banner to draw something — and he produced this awesomely grizzled take on Quinlan!

It’s an awesome piece, Nick! Thank you so much for doing it, and I’m looking forward to checking out more of your work at future comic shows!
